Today, the Triangle MLS, Inc. and Longleaf Pine REALTORS®, Inc. MLS announced an agreement to share MLS data starting in the first quarter of 2022. The driving force behind this data-share agreement is the benefit to MLS subscribers and the home buyers and sellers they serve.

The connection between Triangle MLS, Inc. and Longleaf Pine REALTOR®, Inc. housing data allows subscribers to conduct business across shared service areas with a guarantee of cooperation and compensation. This partnership benefits MLS subscribers by providing a better, more cohesive data solution and saving time by providing vital information faster.

Both organizations will retain their autonomy and current corporate structure but share data using an elegant solution enabling their subscribers to access housing data from across the region. The consumer will have access to a more extensive housing information database that helps them search for a new home or expose their property to more buyers.

Combined, the Triangle MLS, Inc. and the Longleaf Pine REALTOR®, Inc. MLS have over 17,000 REALTOR® subscribers. Between January 1, 2021, and August 31, 2021, the two MLS’s placed over 46,000 homes in the real estate market for sale and posted over 40,000 closings.
